RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD?

There are two resurrections of the dead. One is for those who are believers and the other is for unbelievers. Who are unbelievers? They are the ones who have heard the gospel of Jesus Christ, understood it, but rejected it; they refused to accept Jesus Christ’s sacrifice for their sins. Therefore, they have to pay the penalty themselves which is eternal death. God doesn’t condemn anyone who has not heard the gospel of Jesus!

What is salvation/eternal life based upon? It is base on God the Father and God the Son of God (Jesus Christ). There’s only one way to Heaven, that’s through Jesus Christ – His sacrifice of His life for our sins by His blood. No other form of religion outside of Him will get you into God’s Kingdom which includes Baha’i, Hinduism, Islam and traditional African religions**.  No matter how righteous you may be law keeping and good deeds you do will not get you into Heaven.

Salvation Is Only By the Grace of God:

*How is SALVATION Obtained?
We are saved solely and completely by believing that Christ died for our sins (I Cor. 15:3 NLT) and He rose again (I Cor. 15:17 NLT); we are saved by His life (Rom. 5:10 NLT). We are saved by grace through faith, not of works (Eph. 2:8, 9). Read also Rom. 3: 20, 23-25, 27-28; 4:5; 9:30-31, 32-33; Gal. 2:16; Titus 3:5.
*SALVATION AVAILABLE ONLY IN THE NAME OF JESUS
According to Acts 4:10, 12, you can only be saved by the name of Jesus Christ. *SALVATION, What Is The Age of Accountability For?  Those nineteen years and under (Num.14:29) were accepted as not having knowledge between good and evil in the time of Moses (Deut.1:39). What about little ones who die before they reach the point of personal accountability? David had faith that his little child, like himself, was saved (II Sam.12:23). So it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish (Matt. 18:14); Deut. 1:39).

*SALVATION BASICS:  What Are They?
  • Know that you are a sinner - everyone has sinned and come short of God's standard (Rom. 3:23 NLT). The penalty for sin is death (Rom. 3:26 NLT). Everyone has sinned and come short of God's standard (Rom. 3:23 NLT).
  • You can be set free from the penalty of sin through Jesus Christ (Rom. 3:24 NLT); when you believe in Jesus, you as a sinner is declared to be right with God (Rom. 3:26).
  • You inherited sin and death through Adam and eternal life through Christ (Rom. 5:12-13, 14-15 NLT).
  • You must confess and believe that God raised Jesus from the dead and are now made right with God (Rom. 10:9-10).
The resurrection (better called Rapture for believers) & the unbelievers’ resurrection:

1.
The believers – those saved when Christ returns; our human bodies of flesh and blood will be changed to be like Christ from mortal to immortality (I Corinthians 15:20-23, 35-58). Those saved which have died will be resurrected first (I Thess. 4: 13, 15).

** ANCESTORS WORSHIP:  [Qs] Can ancestors, those who have died, be used as mediators between God and mankind, which are living? ~ After death, the soul and the spirit return to God (II Corinthians 5: 6-8), but can they be used as mediators between God and mankind?
[A]“For there is…one mediator between God and man, the man... Christ Jesus”
(I Timothy 2: 5).

2.      The unbelievers – those who reject, refuse to believe and accept Jesus as Lord of their life, God says they will receive eternal damnation with Satan in the lake of fire, hell (Revelation 20:10-15; 21:8). Please note that this doesn’t take place until after the millennium – 1000 years (Revelation 20:1-6).
